Sri Lanka Day Three

Today: teaching my boys, to hilarious results (they are cheekier than any monk ever should be), stroll at the Green Market, class again, visiting an elephant carving workshop, Pedlar’s Inn Cafe for wifi (the best! Oh, how I miss it so! —post trip thoughts) & a valiant attempt at kicking my coffee addiction with tea.

My co-teacher Danny & the monks. Fact: he has a full time job as a children’s picture book writer! Cool? You decide.

The boys playing cricket after class, as they are wont to do.

Visiting the elephant carving workshop (aka, a hut in the middle of an awesome jungle)– to see handmade wooden elephants being made.

The ever-wonderful Pedlar’s Inn Cafe, in all it’s colonial-esque glory. Galle Fort, you’re really somethin’ else.
